1. Who we are

This policy covers the website sonalize.app and the Sonalize web app published at sonalize.app/alpha ("the App"), operated by Ontiqo Pty Ltd (ACN 701 340 418), Daylesford, Victoria, Australia ("Ontiqo", "we").

2. Audio

2.1 The App analyses audio files in the user's web browser. Audio files added to the App are not uploaded to Ontiqo or to any other party.

2.2 Where the user enters a link to an audio file, the user's browser downloads that file directly from the website that hosts it.

3. Links and song names

3.1 Where the user enters a YouTube, Spotify or Apple Music link, or types a song name, the user's browser sends that link or name to YouTube, Spotify or Apple to look up the song's title, and to Apple to find the song's 30-second preview, which the browser then analyses without storing it.

4. Optional vocal separation

4.1 Where the user turns on the closer melody check, the browser downloads a separation model from sonalize.app once and stores it in the browser's cache. The separation runs in the browser.

5. Proof links and saved comparisons

5.1 A proof link holds its summary in the link itself and is not stored by Ontiqo. Comparisons saved to the case library are stored in the user's browser.

6. Website

6.1 Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes the network requests needed to deliver the website and the App, including IP addresses, as part of providing the service.

6.2 The website and the App use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying visitors. Ontiqo sees only totals.
